Her legal writing has been submitted to appellate courts on various issues. She has successfully argued before the Ontario Court of Appeal on the matter of foreign divorce, which became one of the leading cases determining the legitimacy and recognition of foreign divorces within Canada. Ruslana was featured in The Lawyers Daily (now known as Law360 Canada) _ “ Natural Justice must be served in foreign divorces, Ontario Court of Appeal affirms ”, where the Ontario Court of Appeal affirmed this principle. Her legal writing has also been submitted to the Supreme Court of Canada.
